Minimally Invasive Arthroscopy
Small-incision joint surgery using a camera and precise instruments — for repair work that biologics and therapy cannot reach.
What it involves
Through incisions a few millimeters wide, a camera shows the inside of the joint on screen while fine instruments repair, clean, or stabilize the tissue. Less disruption to healthy tissue means less pain and a faster return than open surgery.
Who it helps
- +Rotator cuff and labral tears
- +Meniscus and cartilage injuries
- +Loose bodies, impingement and joint debridement
- +Cases where imaging shows structural damage
Recovery
Same-day discharge in most cases, then a structured rehabilitation plan run by the same team that performed the surgery.
In the office
Surgery is only recommended after the non-surgical route has been honestly considered.
Common questions
How do you decide surgery is the right call?+
When the exam and imaging show structural damage that will not heal on its own, or when a well-run non-surgical plan has genuinely been tried and has not worked.
Will I stay overnight?+
Almost always no. Arthroscopy is same-day surgery, and you go home once you are awake and comfortable.
What is the recovery?+
It depends on what is repaired — a debridement can mean days, a rotator cuff repair means months in a structured program. You get the honest timeline before you agree to anything.
Who runs my rehabilitation?+
The same team. Physician-directed therapy in our own building means the plan after surgery matches what was actually done inside the joint.

Other treatments
PRP
A concentrate made from your own blood, injected into an irritated tendon, ligament or joint to support the body's own healing response.
Non-surgicalMicrofat
A small amount of your own fat tissue, gently processed and placed into a painful joint to cushion and calm irritated surfaces.
Non-surgicalBMAC
Cells drawn from your own bone marrow, concentrated and delivered to a damaged joint or tendon to support repair.
Non-surgicalShockwave
Non-invasive acoustic energy directed at a painful tendon or bone to stimulate blood flow and reduce chronic pain.
Non-surgicalConservative care
The first line of treatment for most joint and tendon problems: activity modification, anti-inflammatories or acetaminophen, ice, bracing or a cane when helpful, and physician-directed physical therapy.
SurgicalShoulder reconstruction
Rebuilding a shoulder that has lost its stability or its cuff — from anchor-suture repair to complex revision and instability surgery.
Non-surgical & surgicalShoulder arthritis
A worn shoulder joint doesn't have to mean giving up what you love. Care ranges from therapy and biologic injections to total shoulder replacement when the joint is truly worn out.
Non-surgicalSports medicine & longevity
Care for active adults who want to stay in the game, protect their joints and perform at their best — from injury prevention to recovery and long-term resilience.
