Sports medicine & orthopaedic care for Charleston

Many Charleston patients come to me for a second look — at a shoulder replacement recommendation, a rotator cuff tear, or knee arthritis where they want to know every non-surgical option first.

Who I see from Charleston

College athletes, King Street walkers, Cooper River Bridge Run training groups, rec-league soccer and softball, CrossFit and weekend warriors.

Including Downtown Charleston, West Ashley, James Island, North Charleston, Park Circle.

How care usually starts

Conservative care comes first for most problems — a clear diagnosis, activity changes and physician-directed therapy. Orthobiologics such as PRP or BMAC are considered only after reasonable conservative treatment, and surgery is never automatic, even after an injury.
